CatchQuote
About

Quoting built for the trade, not the back office.

CatchQuote is made for renovation contractors and interior designers who quote on the move and want to look sharp doing it.

Most renovation quotes still live in a spreadsheet that breaks the moment you touch it, or a document that takes an evening to format. Meanwhile the client is waiting, and the job goes to whoever replied first with something that looked professional.

We built CatchQuote to close that gap. Structure a quotation the way you actually work, area by area, price it from your own supplier list, and send a branded PDF before you have left the site. No formulas to break, no template to fight.

Built around how the trade here quotes

A renovation quotation in Singapore is not a generic invoice with different words on it. It is organised by area, priced by trade, and read against a list everybody in the market already knows: hacking and demolition, tiling, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, ceiling and partition, painting, waterproofing, glass and aluminium, and the permit and final clean. Carpentry is quoted per foot run, tiling per square foot, electrical per point. Payment runs in stages, and GST is 9%.

None of that is configurable in most quoting software because most quoting software was built somewhere else for somebody else. CatchQuote starts from it. The units are the ones the trade uses, the areas are the rooms the client walks through, and the quotation template matches what a homeowner here has been told to look for.

What it deliberately does not do

It does not sell you leads. It does not rank you in a directory, take a cut of the job, or put your quotation in front of three competitors at the same time. Those are a different business with a different incentive, and the incentive shows.

It also does not try to guess your prices. There is no industry rate card built in, because a rate card averaged across the market is wrong for every firm in it. Your costs come from your own supplier pricelists, your markup is yours, and the software does the multiplication rather than the deciding.

What it is, is the step between winning the chance to quote and winning the job. That step is usually an evening of formatting, and it is the one place a small firm can look exactly as capable as a large one.
