A PDF that looks unmistakably yours.
The same quote, rendered in distinct, professional templates. Pick a look, hit export, and send.
Templates are the scalable heart of CatchQuote. Your quote data flows into a polished A4 document you can save as a PDF from any device. Every branding and layout choice carries through, so what you preview is exactly what your client receives.
Genuinely different designs
A growing library of real layouts, not colour swaps: clean and detailed, corporate tender, elegant boutique, minimal and architectural, each applied to your brand.
Every option carries through
Discount, GST, the summary-of-works position and the layout toggles you set all appear in the exported document, consistently across templates.
One-tap PDF
Open a quote, hit Export, and preview the branded page. Save it as a PDF straight from the browser, on your laptop or your phone. Demo exports carry a watermark until you subscribe.
What a client actually looks for
Someone opening a quotation goes looking for three things before they read a single line item: the total, what is included, and when they have to pay. Every template puts those where they are found rather than under a page of detail, because a quotation that has to be searched gets set aside and compared later, which is where quotes go to be forgotten.
Payment stages, the way the trade does them
Renovation here is staged almost without exception, and the common shape is ten per cent on confirmation, forty on commencement, forty at the midpoint and the last ten on handover. Whatever split you work to belongs on the quotation rather than in a conversation nobody wrote down. The renovation quotation template sets out the full breakdown and what each stage should be tied to.
Questions
How many templates are there?
A growing library of distinct designs, with more added regularly.
How do I export?
Open a quote, tap Export PDF, then use your browser Save as PDF.
Can I switch template per quote?
You set a default in Settings today. Per-quote switching is on the roadmap.
Will it look the same on a phone?
Yes. The export is an A4 document rather than a web page, so it opens identically on a phone, a laptop and in print. The preview before exporting is the document itself, not an approximation of it.
Can I send a total without showing my rates?
Yes. Quantities, unit rates and per-area subtotals each toggle independently, so a detailed breakdown for one client and a summary for another come from the same quote.
Does the demo watermark come off?
Yes, on subscribing. It is there so that a document exported from the demo cannot reach a client looking like a finished quotation.
What paper size is the export?
A4, which is the standard here and what a client, a contractor and a bank all expect to receive.
