Quote area by area, the way you actually work.
A renovation quote is not one long list. It is a set of spaces, each with its own works. CatchQuote is built around exactly that.
Add an area, drop in the works, and the numbers add themselves up while you are still talking to the client. Quantities, units, an optional discount and Singapore GST are totalled live, so there are no formulas to break and nothing to reformat before you send.
Structured by space, not one giant table
Break the job into Kitchen, Living, Master Bath and however many areas you need. Each area carries its own line items and its own subtotal, which is how contractors already think and how clients read a quote.
Live totals with optional discount and GST
Every line is quantity times unit rate. Turn on a percentage discount or 9% GST and the grand total updates the moment you type, with the maths shown so the client can follow it.
Pull priced items from your presets
Instead of retyping rates, insert items from your supplier presets with your markup already applied. Mix preset lines and typed lines freely in any area.
The ten trades a Singapore quote gets read against
Whatever the job, a renovation quotation here is read against the same list: hacking and demolition, masonry and tiling, carpentry, plumbing and sanitary, electrical, ceiling and partition, painting, waterproofing, glass and aluminium, and cleaning and permits. Each carries a unit the trade expects, and a line without one invites the question you did not want. The renovation quotation template sets out all ten with the unit and the detail each one needs.
Where the spreadsheet stops working
A spreadsheet is fine for the first few jobs and then it is not. A formula breaks when a row is inserted and the total is quietly wrong. A quote from the previous job gets copied and an old rate survives into the new one. Four files sit on the desktop and nobody is certain which one went out. None of that is a discipline problem. It is what happens when a general tool is used for work that has a structure, and the structure is what is missing.
Questions
Do my quotes save?
Yes. When you are signed in, quotes save to your account. The public demo intentionally does not save.
Can I quote on my phone at the site?
Yes, the builder is fully responsive and works on a phone during the site visit.
Is there a limit on quotes or line items?
No. Every plan includes unlimited quotations and unlimited lines.
How long does a quote take to build?
For a job you have priced before, about ten minutes: add the areas, insert the priced items from your presets, and export. The first one takes longer, because you are setting up your branding and your pricelists at the same time.
Can I change the GST rate?
Yes. It defaults to 9%, the current Singapore rate, and it can be changed per quote or switched off entirely for a client who is not being charged it.
Can I mark a quote as won or lost?
Yes. Every quote carries a status of Draft, Sent, Won or Lost, so the list doubles as a record of what is out and what came back.
Do I have to sign up to try it?
No. The demo is the working builder with nothing held back except saving. Build a real quote, watch the totals, and export it to see exactly what a client would receive.
See how fast your next quote can be.
The whole tool is open. Build a real quote right now, nothing to install.
